Surrounded by towering conifers, overlooking the beautiful Payette River, nestled amongst the foothills on the outskirts of Cascade, Trinity Pines Retreat Center was occupied by over 200 Linder congregation members who spent the weekend together, renewing their dependence on God and deepening their relationships with one another. The schedule focused on two pivotal ideas - spending time together to get to know each other more intimately and being strengthened in our faith journey through lessons on how to be rooted in our relationships with God and one another.  The free time activities included opportunities to play team sports such as soccer, volleyball, wiffle ball, and other lawn games like cornhole.  Other activities to be enjoyed were zip lines, swings, rock painting, and for walkers, various hiking trails which crisscrossed the…

Linder Road church of Christ youth brought the puppet show to the international community in Boise, Idaho “The wise man built his house upon the Rock, and the rains came tumbling down…“ The familiar VBS children’s song rang out from behind the puppet theater curtains as a group of teenage puppeteers from Linder Road performed the first of two plays for the children at the Northwest Point Apartments in Boise, Saturday afternoon, June 25, 2022.   The puppet show and watermelon treat was a community outreach event which included two plays, hand hygiene training, and a watermelon snack break.  The first play was based on Jesus’ parable of the Two Foundations, more familiar to many as the wise and foolish builders, and included a re-enactment of the parable taught by Jesus…
