On August 4th, Trinity Pines Retreat Center was occupied by over 200 Linder Road congregation members who spent the weekend together, renewing their courage on God and deepening their relationships with one another. Due to the accidents on 55, members were late arriving on Friday, also, due to the rain, Sunday morning worship was moved to inside the tight conference room. Grief seminar with guest speaker Jeff Jenkins was held on July 14th to 16th. Jeff Jenkins has preached for over 40 years and conducts Gospel meetings, seminars, and lectureships. He is a well known speaker in the brotherhood, and is the author of a number of books including "beyond the Valley of Death," a resource promoting hope and renewal in the midst of grief. Jeff lost his wife Laura in 2019, so he is able to speak about loss and grief from experience. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.’” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭2‬) Children’s hearts and minds are fertile soil that we, as Christian parents, teachers, and family members, need to intentionally and purposefully cultivate in order to reap a harvest of spiritual maturity and moral excellence in our families.   One way we approach this goal at Linder is through participation in Leadership Training for Christ, an annual event that is held for the northwest region in Richland, Washington.  About 30 of our children, plus family members and other adults, traveled to Richland to attend the Leadership Training for Christ convention, where over 175 children from 3rd to 12th grade participated in many different…

Approximately 30 kids, plus adult chaperones, enjoyed an afternoon of crafts, games and snacks themed around the Valentine’s Day motif. The party was held in the Linder fellowship hall, Saturday, February 11, 2023. Activities included a Valentine’s Day themed bean bag toss, Stick the Heart on the Teddy Bear (Pin the tail on the donkey spin-off), bingo, and three craft stations for making bookmarks, stained glass hearts, and heart stencil art.  A photo venue was also available for capturing picture memories of the day. After the kids completed their craft activities and game stations, snacks were provided, including Goldfish crackers, chocolate-dipped pretzel sticks, marshmallow treats, and juice.
