“In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.” (‭‭Job‬ ‭12:10) The air is clear now, thankfully the smoke has dissipated and we have the opportunity to enjoy the crisp air of autumn as it transforms our world with it’s stunning colors.  It’s such a beautiful time of year, as we harvest the abundance from the land and we prepare ourselves for the transition to winter quietness.  Right now the idea of breathing in the fresh air has been on my mind (and fortunately in my lungs)!  It seems the year of 2020 has been all about breathing, whether it’s “not” breathing in something bad like viruses and smoke, or symbolically breathing in good things like compassion, joy, and peace.   It’s not surprising…

Summer is winding down towards the cooler weather of fall, however, the fire season is in full flame, as we in the Treasure Valley experience the smoky results of the devastating fires that are burning around us, once again endangering property and lives.  This pattern seems to have turned into an annual event for late summer, yet we can be thankful that it is only the smoke we are dealing with and not the actual fires. Smoke is an interesting phenomenon and word, which in the English language we use to express a surprising variety of ideas.  Idioms such as the following ones are very familiar to us in our daily conversations: “There’s no smoke without fire” “Put that in your pipe and smoke it” “Go up in smoke” “Smoke…

In-person services are available beginning August 9th at 9am and 11am.  However, Ada county remains in Stage 3, therefore we have limits and protocols we will need to follow in order to meet.  One of those limits is the number of people that can meet at one time. We request you register before attending one of the two services.  Please plan to do this each week. If you are uncomfortable with meeting in person or try to register after the limit has been met, please plan to join the drive-in service at 9am in the south parking lot or by watching the streaming service.   Here are the steps to register for Sunday in-person services.
