She and her husband, Kirt, make her home in Ethridge, a small town in middle Tennessee, where Kirt serves as the minister at the Ethridge church of Christ. “In the beginning, the world was empty. Darkness was everywhere. But God had a plan.“ Granny’s voice trembled a bit as she began reading to the children gathered around her, the history of how everything was made by God.  On this hot, summer day, it was the perfect time to be inside the cool clubhouse, listening to Granny reading stories and learning about God’s wonderful creation. This happy scene is a verbal snapshot of our first Story Time outreach presented to the children at Northwest Point apartments in Boise.  A group of Linder teens and adults put together the interactive time, which included a guest appearance by Granny (Hanne C.) as the storyteller, while the other team members asked questions and used props to emphasize the story details. “All the earth will worship You, And will sing praises to You; They will sing praises to Your name.” (Psalms‬ ‭66:4‬) Anywhere, anytime, God’s people can sing praises to his name.  â€œAcappella in the Park” was planned for Sunday June 12th as a community event where Christians could come together and lift our songs of praise to the Lord!   It turned out to be a stormy, rainy June day, so the venue was necessarily changed to inside the building, however, the agenda was the same - we gathered for a BBQ fellowship and topped the evening off pouring out our praises to the majestic creator of the universe, the living and true God! Church members purchased the holiday cards made by teens and sent them to loved ones. All the proceeds from the card sales will be sent to help students in Ukraine! Our Mission:We are Partnering with our missionaries, Brandon and Katie Price, to raise money for students that are attending the Ukrainian Bible Institute. The funds will be used specifically to pay the high heating bills for students in the school's apartment/dormitories during the frigid winter months.
