Friends Day 2022 – Our Reason for Hope
“The greatest love you can have for your friends is to give your life for them.” (John 15:13) Linder Road held our annual Friends Day on September 18th, in conjunction with National Back to Church Sunday, with lessons focusing on the reason for our hope, walking this road together, and celebrating the joy we find in our relationship with Jesus and one another. Friends, neighbors, and family members were invited to join our morning Bible study and worship assembly, which included songs, prayers, and the message theme focused on the biblical hope we find in Jesus. In the evening, a fireside devotional and ice cream social was held in the south parking lot where songs of praise, a lesson on spiritual fruit, and a wonderful time of fellowship was enjoyed. …

She and her husband, Kirt, make her home in Ethridge, a small town in middle Tennessee, where Kirt serves as the minister at the Ethridge church of Christ. Kelli enjoys reading and writing fiction, spending time with family and friends, and teaching women about God’s great love letter. She earned a certificate in Women’s studies from Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. Story Time Outreach at International Community
“In the beginning, the world was empty. Darkness was everywhere. But God had a plan.“ Granny’s voice trembled a bit as she began reading to the children gathered around her, the history of how everything was made by God. On this hot, summer day, it was the perfect time to be inside the cool clubhouse, listening to Granny reading stories and learning about God’s wonderful creation. This happy scene is a verbal snapshot of our first Story Time outreach presented to the children at Northwest Point apartments in Boise. A group of Linder teens and adults put together the interactive time, which included a guest appearance by Granny (Hanne C.) as the storyteller, while the other team members asked questions and used props to emphasize the story details.
